Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to achieve a score of 10 in a competition at the Olympics. Bela Karrolyi was a Romanian gymnastics instructor, who was later Comaneci's coach, first discovered Comaneci aged six. The first time she competed at the national junior championships in 1969 and finished 13th. She took the title in 1970. In 1972, during the communist nations' meet for junior athletes before the Olympics she took home three gold medals. In 1973 and '74 she was the all-around junior champ. When she competed for the first time as a senior athlete in the year 1975, she beat the Russian Lyudmila Turishcheva who was a five-time European champion, winning 4 gold and one silver medal. She was the winner of the American Cup in New York City in 1976 and became the first female to do a reverse double salto, which is dismounting from the uneven parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her path into the world of entertainment began in her teens when she started skating figure with her younger twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around that were known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6 1942 at Chicago Illinois US. Carol began her career as an entertainer when she was a teenager. She started her career as a model skater with her younger twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the traveling entertainment shows named Ice Capades. These shows were ice skating events which included stage performances.
